Linda sees her work as being part of her client’s management team. She focusses on what you need for your business, considering commercial realities, risk, cost, and the need to get your workers on board with any necessary changes.
Linda is dual qualified, and has been an employment lawyer since 1996, initially practicing as a solicitor in the UK, working in major cities; Manchester, Liverpool and London, where she was also a Board Director for a housing charity, for people with complex needs. She relocated with her Australian husband, a barrister, to Melbourne in 2014.
Her experience, which has been mainly for employer clients, encompasses a broad range of industries and sectors, including manufacturing, financial services, NDIS and aged care. Linda’s background in both litigation and advice work ensures she can see the optimal way forward, in any workplace problem. She enjoys getting to know her client’s business, and the feeling of being part of their internal team, to solve problems in the most efficient way.
Linda is also able to use her excellent contacts at the Victorian Bar to bring added value and strategy to her commercial advice for your organisation.
